Hyunghwan Byun is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience and interaction design. Currently serving as Principal Designer at AppZen since May 2023 and an Angel Squad Member at Hustle Fund since March 2024, Hyunghwan is also the Founder of sqncs studio. Previous roles include a Member at South Park Commons, Mead Maker & Brand Designer at 술래 Soolray, and Senior User Experience Designer at Adobe, where significant contributions were made to the Photoshop product line. Early career experiences feature Interaction Designer at Seerflix Inc., and Experience Designer at Carnegie Mellon University, along with educational roles at New Education, KAIST. Hyunghwan holds a Master of Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from Yonsei University.
