Janine Hancock Jones serves as the Assistant Head of School for Community and Belonging and Associate Director of Admission at Harvard-Westlake School since July 2015, with previous roles including Head and Interim Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Prior to this, Janine worked as an attorney at Seyfarth Shaw and held various leadership positions, such as Chair of the Law Firm Alliance with the John M Langston Bar Association, and Lecturer in Law at USC Gould School of Law. Janine's extensive legal experience includes counseling on labor and employment issues, consulting for minority businesses, and serving as Senior Advisor and Deputy Legal Counsel to the Governor of Ohio. Educational credentials include a J.D. from Howard University School of Law and a B.A. in French/Pre-law from Spelman College.
