Chad James, PE, currently serves as the Land Development Team Lead and Senior Project Manager at HWC Engineering since May 2019. Prior experience includes roles as Project Engineer at American Structurepoint, Inc. from July 2016 to May 2019, and Design Engineer at SPACECO, Inc. from November 2015 to June 2016, focusing on private land development in the Chicago area. Chad also worked as a Land Development Engineer at Bury, Inc. from February 2013 to November 2015, gaining experience in platting land and various private and school development projects. Early career experience includes internships at Commonwealth Engineers, Inc. in 2011 and 2012, where responsibilities included sewer system design and project specification documentation. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, earned in 2012.
