Colin Harris

Colin’s experience encompasses procurement strategy, contract drafting and negotiation, project management, litigation and other forms of dispute resolution. He has prepared and defended complex payment claims made under Security of Payment legislation in several states and in litigation arising from adjudications.

Colin prepares and advises on all forms of construction and infrastructure procurement models and documentation, including design and construct agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, standing offer models, alliance agreements, construction management agreements, development agreements, supply agreements, consultant agreements and subcontracts, along with associated tender and project documentation.

Colin has acted in complex multi-party disputes to achieve clients’ legal and commercial objectives, including for principals, contractors, financiers, subcontractors, and consultants and insurers.

He holds a Masters of Construction Law from the University of Melbourne.
