After obtaining his Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA, David spent his career in various areas of software and technology, from writing code for some of the world’s first and largest mobile and messaging systems to scaling, growing, and exiting multiple software companies – venture-backed, private-equity owned, and public. Ratner helped establish MAAWG, the Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group (now M3AAWG), has international B2B experience in all geographies, over two million lifetime flight miles, is a martial-arts black-belt and active soccer player. Currently resides in Silicon Valley.
