M.D. Belal Hossain

Md Belal Hossain is a Geoinformatics Engineer at Hybrid Lidar Systems AG since March 2022, responsible for manual testing and validation of point cloud visualization software, integrating GIS with LiDAR mapping, and sensor fusion technology. Previous experience includes an internship as a Surveying Engineer at Spindler & Kaupmann Vermessungingenieure, where theoretical knowledge in Cadaster Surveying was applied. Md Belal Hossain conducted a Master's thesis at Leibniz Universität focused on 3D models from video sequences and worked as a research assistant utilizing Python for ground truth labeling. Additional roles include a GNSS Monitoring Intern at Sapcorda Services GmbH and a research assistant involved in deep learning projects at Institut für Kartographie und Geoinformatik. Md Belal Hossain holds an M. Sc in Geodesy and Geoinformatics from Leibniz Universität Hannover and a B. Sc in Geology and Mining from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh.
