Louise Mare

Louise Mare brings extensive experience in microbiology and sales, currently serving as Territory Manager at Hygiena since July 2022, following a successful tenure as Territory Sales Manager EMEA at 3M Food Safety. Prior to this, Louise spent over a decade at 3M South Africa in sales and technical roles and worked as a Technical Manager at 3M Food Safety, specializing in microbiological testing solutions for the food industry. Louise's earlier experience includes a position as Senior Researcher at the Agricultural Research Council, focusing on gastrointestinal microbiology and alternative antibiotic strategies. Academically, Louise holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (MS) in Microbiology from Stellenbosch University, along with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Agriculture, also with a focus on Microbiology, from the University of Pretoria.
