Kimani Phifer started their work experience in 2002 as a Sr. Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Business Analyst at Fannie Mae. In 2009, they became a Finance Associate at American Electric Power. From 2011 to 2016, they held the role of Commercial Contracts Manager at DHL Supply Chain, then became Director of Commercial Contract Management until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as the Regional Compliance Officer, Americas at DHL Supply Chain. Currently, starting in 2021, they are serving as the Global Director of Compliance and Commercial Contracts at Hyperion Materials & Technologies.
Kimani Phifer has a strong educational background in business and finance. They obtained a B.S. in Commerce with a focus on Finance and Management from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. To further their education, they pursued an MBA at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business from 2007 to 2009, specializing in Business. In addition to their degrees, Kimani Phifer has also obtained professional certifications. They are a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) from the Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® since November 2021 and an Export Compliance Professional (ECoP) from the Export Compliance Training Institute (ECTI) since January 2020.
