Alex Merritt

Alex Merritt currently serves as the Head of Fibre Service Delivery and Head of MDU & Newbuild Design at Hyperoptic since August 2022. Prior to this role, Alex accumulated extensive experience at Openreach from September 2007 to August 2022, advancing through positions such as Principal FTTP Networks, Senior Manager Fibre Networks, and Head of Network Custodians among others. Alex's early career included a position as an Insurance Advisor at Gallagher Heath from October 2006 to July 2007. Academic qualifications include an HNC in Business and Management from Northbrook College (2009-2010) and attendance at Tanbridge House School (1999-2004).
