Phil Bacon

Phil Bacon is a seasoned professional in project and programme management, currently serving as a Senior Programme Manager at Hyperoptic Ltd. since June 2021. Previously, Phil held the position of Programme Manager at Viasat UK from July 2016 to June 2021, and served as a Project Manager at Meggitt Sensing Systems from May 2012 to July 2016 and at MSI Defence Systems Ltd from July 2010 to May 2012. Beginning a career as a Design Engineer at Meggitt Sensing Systems, Phil possesses a robust educational foundation with a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of Portsmouth and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering - Automotive Design from the University of Huddersfield. Phil is also certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute, with ongoing engagement since 2016.
