Luis R. has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Luis started their career at Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator as an App Developer Intern. From there, they moved on to Debitize, where they worked as an iOS App Developer, utilizing React Native to develop the company's application. Next, Luis joined the New Jersey Institute of Technology as a Big Data Developer and Researcher, where they analyzed cancer patient data using Python and big data analytics tools. Luis then became a PSTech Ambassador at LaGuardia Community College, representing the college's students to various technology companies and leading Q&A sessions with their employees. Following this, Luis worked at Hyr Inc. as a Junior Software Developer, focusing on developing version 2.0 of the company's application using React Native and a new backend server. Currently, Luis is employed at Talkspace, starting as a Software Engineer and later transitioning to the role of Senior Software Engineer. At Talkspace, they play a key role in front-end technology decisions and patterns, prioritizing developer experience and improving the development process for their teammates.

Luis R. first attended LaGuardia Community College from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Science. Following that, they pursued further education at The City College of New York from 2018 to 2020, where they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science.
