Paul Ferri is a highly experienced Test Engineer at HYTORC, specializing in R&D and compliance testing of battery-powered nut drivers, with a focus on brushless motors, three-phase inverters, and torque transducers. Previously, Paul served as a Ph.D. Graduate Researcher at Rutgers University, working on Model Free Control, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department. Notable contributions include the development of a novel wireless strain sensor for NASA and designing a reader device for strain sensor localization. Prior positions include a research internship at NASA and a project engineering role at United Technologies Aerospace Systems, where Paul focused on actuators for the F135 engine in the F35 Joint Strike Fighter. Paul holds a Ph.D. and an MS in Mechanical Engineering, along with a Bachelor's Degree and an Associate degree in related fields from Rutgers University and Raritan Valley Community College.
