I Be Black Girl
Ang R Bennett is an interdisciplinary artist and communications strategist with extensive experience in the art and non-profit sectors. Currently serving as a communications strategist at I Be Black Girl since June 2025, Ang has a rich background in managing communications and exhibitions as demonstrated through roles as a senior communications manager at Inclusive Communities and gallery manager at BFF Omaha. Ang's artistic contributions include solo and group exhibitions across various venues, projects such as presenting at Adobe Create Now and exhibiting at AFROfest Taiwan, and active involvement in curatorial efforts. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, complemented by previous studies in art history and art studies at Wayne State University and Paine College.
