Bria Saunders, Esq. is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Associate General Counsel at IAPMO since March 2022. Prior to this role, Bria was a Legal Researcher for the Minority Cannabis Business Association and a Policy Advisor at The Hood Incubator, focusing on cannabis-related policies and legal research. Bria also worked as a Legal Intern at Root & Rebound, providing services to clients with drug convictions, and completed an internship at SCLegal, where contract review and research on various legal issues were key responsibilities. Before pursuing a legal career, Bria gained experience in marketing and outreach as Marketing Production Manager at the National College Resources Foundation and held several positions at Texas Southern University, including Talk Show Host and Vice President of the University Program Council. Bria holds a Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans and a degree from Texas Southern University.
