David Ludwig

David Ludwig is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as CEO and Managing Director for the APAC region at ib vogt GmbH since May 2013. Ludwig has successfully executed a growth strategy establishing a strong organizational presence across ten markets and has been instrumental in originating a project pipeline exceeding 10GW, as well as securing funding for large-scale renewable energy projects. Previous roles include Director Asia Pacific and Head of Asia Pacific, where Ludwig developed key strategies and managed project execution, as well as Head of Grid Solutions, leading international teams on high-voltage grid connections for large-scale photovoltaic plants worldwide. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Business Administration from ESCP Business School and a Master of Science in Renewable Energy from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin.
