Michael Chavez

Michael Chavez has over 25 years of experience in information technology, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at IBC Bank since May 2014, where leadership focuses on employee development and accountability within IT infrastructure and operations. Previously, Michael held the position of Manager of Systems Engineering & Administration at IBC Bank, overseeing a team responsible for the bank's data center and IT systems infrastructure. Prior to IBC Bank, experience includes roles at Time Warner Cable as a Tier 4 Technical Support Specialist, and at MCI Worldcom as a Lead Systems Administrator, where responsibilities encompassed complex issue resolution and server management. Additional experience includes positions at Intel Corporation as a Training/Marketing Representative and at University Health System as a Help Desk Coordinator. Michael attended Texas State University from 1994 to 1996.
