Devon Powley

Devon Powley is a seasoned professional in product and cloud security, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Product and Cloud Security at IBM since June 2025, following a similar role at HashiCorp from January 2021 to June 2025. Prior to joining HashiCorp, Devon held positions at IBM as Manager of Cloud Security, and as Sr. Security Engineer II and Sr. Security Engineer I after the company’s acquisition of HashiCorp was finalized in February 2025. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Capital One from April 2019 to January 2021, and as Data Engineer and Data Analyst at Deep Root Analytics from June 2017 to March 2019. Devon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Business Management from Grove City College.
