Volker Witzel

Volker Witzel currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at iC Consult, where responsibilities include leading global initiatives in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to enhance digital security and compliance for customers. Prior to this role, Witzel held various leadership positions at Schenker AG, including President of the Board of Directors at Schenker Technology Center (Warsaw) and Senior Vice President of the Technology Solution Center. Witzel also served as a Chairman of the Board of Directors at Schenker Shared Services Co., Ltd., and held the interim position of Chief Information Officer for the Asia Pacific region at Schenker (Asia Pacific) Pte. Ltd. Previous experiences include general management of IT operations, international project management, and IT architecture at Schenker AG, alongside a role as an IT Specialist at IBM Deutschland GmbH focused on e-business applications. Witzel holds a Master of Education in Computer Science and Social Sciences from the University of Duisburg-Essen.
