Rakesh Patel

Rakesh Patel MD is a distinguished physician and leader in the fields of oncology and precision health. Currently serving as Director of Early Detection, Genetics, Cancer Prevention, and Wellness at Precision Health and Medicine since 2004, Rakesh Patel has held various significant roles, including Medical Director and Chair of multiple committees focused on breast care and survivorship. Rakesh Patel has a strong interest in women's health, breast cancer, and personalized medicine, evidenced by leadership positions in several organizations, including as Chief Medical Officer of Invitae Digital Health and founder of Medneon. Rakesh Patel has contributed to digital health innovation, serving on the board of companies like iCAD and Radion, and founded TME Breast Care Think Tank to address unmet clinical needs in breast cancer. Rakesh Patel holds a medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and advanced certifications in genetics and genomics from City of Hope.
