Joose Helle

Joose Helle is a seasoned geospatial professional with extensive experience in full-stack development and GIS applications. Currently serving as a Senior Geospatial Full Stack Developer at ICEYE since October 2021, Joose has previously held roles including GIS Developer at the Finnish Environment Institute and Junior Consultant/Developer at CGI. Joose's expertise includes building geospatial web applications utilizing open-source technologies such as Vue.js, React, TypeScript, OpenLayers, GeoServer, and PostGIS. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Geography with a specialization in Geoinformatics from the University of Helsinki, and a Bachelor of Science in Geography. Previous experience spans various roles in GIS support, development, and teaching, including internships and research assistance at renowned institutions like the University of Helsinki and the University of Sydney.
