Mike McWaters is a seasoned structural designer with extensive experience in subsea engineering and structural design. Currently serving as a Senior Structural Designer at ICON Engineering Pty Ltd since October 2016, Mike has held various influential positions including Subsea Designer at TechnipFMC and Senior Subsea Structural Designer at both Technip Oceania and FugroTSM. Previous roles also include Senior Designer at S2V Consulting and Senior Structural Designer Checker at Amec Foster Wheeler. Mike began a career in design management as CAD Design Manager at Neptune Marine Services. Educationally, Mike holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering from the University of South Australia, completed from 1982 to 1987.
