Michela Peroni

Michela Peroni is a seasoned professional in project management and clinical research with over three decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Sr Director of Project Management at ICON plc since April 2012, Michela leads Partnership & Portfolio Operations and is involved in business development and real-world evidence initiatives. Previous roles include Director of Project Management and Global Program Manager at ICON plc, focusing on CNS indications and alliance partnerships. Prior to ICON, Michela held roles such as FSP Global Study Manager at i3 Global, where responsibilities encompassed managing Phase IV vaccine studies, and Principal Clinical Research Scientist at GlaxoSmithKline, overseeing numerous Phase I and II studies in psychiatric indications. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Trinity College Dublin and multiple advanced degrees in project management and pharmacology.
