Chris Gillick is a Vice President working primarily with the firm’s investment management, banking and fintech clients.

After starting his career as a foreign exchange trader, Chris has spent the last decade as a financial journalist, public relations specialist and marketer. His clients have included leading hedge funds, private equity firms, banks, brokerages and fintech companies.

Over the years, Chris has secured high visibility coverage in top-tier publications such as the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bloomberg News, Reuters, the Financial Times and multiple trade publications. In addition to his involvement in proactive campaigns, Chris has helped manage several clients through crises and special situations.

Prior to joining ICR, Chris was a Vice President at consultancy Peaks Strategies, where he worked closely with asset managers, fintech companies and trade organizations. Before Peaks, Chris was a marketing manager for Coller Capital, a leading private equity secondaries investor. He began his career in public relations at Walek & Associates, a financial services boutique that was acquired in 2013.

Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Colgate University.
