Michael joins ICR as a Senior Vice President, focusing on corporate communications and public relations across a spectrum of retail and consumer categories.

Prior to joining ICR, Michael led strategic marketing efforts at many of the leading consumer brands in publishing, managing category-leading teams and building multimedia platforms at GQ, Men’s Journal, The Week, Rolling Stone, Modern Luxury, Best Life and O, The Oprah Magazine, among others. He also served as CMO of Fifth Season Financial, and launched his own successful consulting firm.

With over two decades of media and marketing experience, Michael has led his teams to develop innovative and award-winning client solutions over a wide variety of categories and industries. He offers expertise in content development, strategic positioning, brand visibility, media management and creative marketing that breaks through the clutter.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded a bachelor’s degree in communications from The Annenberg School of Communications. He currently resides in Westport, Connecticut, where he has served on the Board of Directors for A Better Chance of Westport and for the Westport Public Library.
