Reed’s extensive background in capital markets and corporate strategy provides a deep, holistic view of the critical role that investor relations plays in driving value for all stakeholders. His 25+ years of experience has been heavily focused on brand-centric lifestyle businesses across retail, consumer packaged goods, and healthy living.
During his career on Wall Street, Reed researched and analyzed virtually all major verticals within the Consumer sector and created several unique areas of coverage including Extreme Value and Active Lifestyle. Reed’s breadth of experience ranges from early stage private companies to IPOs to follow-on offerings for industry leaders to strategic M&A. In addition to his work on the Consumer sector, Reed helped to build successful coverage teams in several other sectors including technology, healthcare, industrials, and energy.
Reed was previously a sell-side analyst covering the Consumer sector for over 20 years at several growth-oriented firms including Piper Jaffray, D.A. Davidson, and Northland Capital Markets where he also served as Director of Research. Prior to joining ICR in 2021, Reed spent six years in corporate strategy including a major focus working with health, nutrition, and fitness companies.
