Zach Gorin is a Senior Vice President at ICR where he leverages his background in strategic communications, special situations, transactions and transformations to help clients build reputation and navigate stakeholder trust. He has advised a wide range of public and private companies and their boards on mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, senior management changes, restructurings, litigation support and crisis situations, as well as ongoing corporate positioning and executive visibility programs.

Zach specializes in identifying which reputation drivers represent clients’ greatest bottom-line impact and building holistic strategies around them to engage a range of stakeholder groups – from policymakers and regulators to employees, investors, and customers. Over his career, he has worked across the food & beverage, energy & industrials, professional services, and health sectors to navigate activist pressures from investors, employees, and NGOs, on behalf of S&P Global, Biogen, Microsoft, Bayer, Mitsui & Co., BMW Group, and Shearman & Sterling LLP.

He previously served in senior roles at Edelman, Ruder Finn, and SKDKnickerbocker, and began his career in politics, serving as Communications Director to Senate Majority PAC, an organization dedicated to securing and protecting a Democratic majority in the U.S. Senate. He is a graduate of Bates College.

Former Fellow, Coro Leadership New York, the city’s premier leadership training program spanning a community of 2,000 alumni across business, government, schools and non-profits shaping the city’s future.
