Wim Bijnens

Wim Bijnens is a seasoned professional currently serving as the CEO of SHIELD vzw since February 2024 and a member of the Supervisory Board at ICT Group since September 2023. Bijnens co-founded intigriti in August 2016, where a role as Chairperson Of The Board is held. Additional board involvement includes positions at Andreaz, BlueHealth Innovation Fund, VaultSpeed, and Caprealeo, all of which are ongoing. Since February 2022, Bijnens has also contributed to Hogeschool PXL as a Visiting Professor and Research Director. A long-term representative for Cronos Groep since June 2015, Bijnens holds a Ph.D. in Science from Hasselt University and has advanced degrees in Fysische Chemie and Scheikunde from KU Leuven and Limburgs Universitair Centrum, respectively.
