Dakota Pfaff

Dakota Pfaff is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in electrical and electronics engineering, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Idaho. Currently serving as a Transmission & Distribution Strategies Engineer II at Idaho Power since August 2021, Dakota has previously held multiple roles at Idaho Power, including Distribution Planning Engineer and Reliability Engineering Intern. Prior experience includes positions as a Substations Engineer and SCADA and Analytical Services Engineer at POWER Engineers, along with roles at the University of Idaho as an Electrical Engineering Ambassador and Academic Peer Mentor. Additional experience includes an internship focusing on power distribution and a position as an On Air Personality at Ida Vend Broadcasting and related companies.
