Julia A. Hilton is a distinguished legal professional with extensive experience in utility law and governance. Currently serving as Vice President and General Counsel at Idaho Power since February 2012, Julia has held multiple legal leadership positions within the company, including Deputy General Counsel and Senior Counsel. Prior experience includes serving as Associate General Counsel at the American Samoa Power Authority, where Julia led legal matters and managed legal staff while providing strategic counsel to executive management. Additionally, Julia worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for both the High Court of American Samoa and the Idaho Supreme Court, where substantial legal research and writing were pivotal duties. Academically accomplished, Julia earned a J.D. magna cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law and a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Utah.
