James P. Scriven currently serves as the CEO of IDB Invest since November 2015. Prior to this position, James held several significant roles at the International Finance Corporation from 2002 to 2015, including Vice President of Corporate Risk and Sustainability, Global Industry Director for the Financial Markets Group, and Director for Global Financial Markets in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean. James began their career at Banco de Crédito y Securitización as CEO from 2000 to 2002 and served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Banco Hipotecario from 1995 to 2000. James holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from Universidad del Centro de Estudios Macroeconómicos de Argentina and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina.
