Kurt Looyens is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the finance and blockchain sectors. Currently serving as Founder & Director of idclear since November 2020, Kurt has focused on enhancing due diligence services through a proprietary data platform. As a Founding Partner of Dolya Consulting since January 2020, Kurt provides expertise in business development and compliance for international clients engaging in regulated activities. Previous leadership roles include serving as interim CEO of Bullish and CEO of the Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange, as well as Head of Business Development at Gibraltar Stock Exchange. Kurt's prior experience at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. spanned over a decade, culminating in senior roles such as Head of World Citizen Services for Spain and France and Global Head of Business Development within the International Diamond & Jewelry Group. Kurt holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Antwerp and participated in the Erasmus programme at Université Grenoble Alpes.
