Nilesh Varma is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at ideaForge since October 2021, Nilesh focuses on the development of new payloads and optimized hybrid UAVs for the 'SWITCH' drone platform and various quad applications. Prior to this role, Nilesh held the position of Assistant General Manager at Larsen & Toubro Defence Systems from August 2004 to July 2021, where responsibilities included market research and the development of competitive products, as well as the design, development, testing, and validation of Electro-Mechanical systems. Nilesh holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Mechanical & Aerospace from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, obtained between 2009 and 2012, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Rajendra Mane College of Engineering & Technology, completed in 2004.
