Jolyon Canlin

Jolyon Canlin is an experienced compliance and privacy professional with a significant background in the legal sector. Currently serving as VP Global Compliance and Privacy and Data Protection Officer at Ideagen since March 2022, Jolyon held similar roles as Head of Compliance and Data Protection Officer at ENSEK from December 2017 to April 2022. Previous experience includes positions at E.ON, where Jolyon was the Regulatory and Compliance MI Team Lead and Litigation Team Manager, as well as various legal roles in private practice including Associate Solicitor at Challinors Solicitors and Higher Court Advocate at Bhatia Best Solicitors. Jolyon began the legal career in 2000 as a Trainee Solicitor at Campions Solicitors, following a strong educational background culminating in a BA(Hons) in Accounting with Law from Teesside University.
