Stephen Thompson

Stephen Thompson currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer and Group General Counsel at Ideagen since March 2022. Prior to this role, Stephen was the Group General Counsel at Purplebricks Group PLC from March 2020 to April 2022. Stephen also held the position of General Counsel at Virgin Trains from January 2018 to February 2020, and served as the Director of Legal and Procurement at Europcar from August 2014 to January 2018. Earlier in Stephen's career, the role of Legal and Commercial Director was held at Star Refrigeration Ltd from November 2010 to August 2014, and Director of Corporate and Legal Affairs at Thyssen Krupp Elevators UK Ltd from January 2009 to November 2010. Stephen Thompson earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Law from Nottingham Trent University.
