IDEAL Energy Cooperative is the first purchasing cooperative in the United States for energy retailers. IDEAL is Member-Owned by local energy distributors that exists to deliver reliable and secure heating and transportation fuels through a qualitative, independent network.  

Founded in October 2019, IDEAL currently has a Member footprint, along with suppliers and vendors partners, spread throughout New England, New York, and Pennsylvania. IDEAL currently has more than 179 million distillate and propane gallons, and half a billion dollars in business revenue towards buying power. IDEAL is ready to welcome new members, suppliers, and vendors. All of our Members must be privately held, and independently owned and operated.

IDEAL Energy Cooperative provides value to Members by working together with our Supplier & Vendor Partners to: 
   - Aggregate Member purchasing power to lower fuel, equipment and 
      essential business services costs.
   - Provide best practices and benchmarking to “IDEAL” standards, 
   - Build a national “locally-fueled” energy brand of fuel diversification and
