Sarah Welch has a range of work experience in various roles and companies. Sarah started in 2006 as a Studio Assistant at Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates. In 2007, they became an Environmental Consultant and Ecological Designer at Great Ecology, where they managed projects and conducted business development. Sarah then worked as a Conservation Strategy and Planning Intern at The Nature Conservancy in 2011. The following year, they were a Market Analyst Intern at Organica Water, where they developed market entrance strategies and evaluated marketing protocols. Since 2013, Sarah has been an Associate Managing Director at ideas42.
Sarah Welch received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. After that, they pursued an MBA/MEM dual degree from Yale University, attending from 2010 to 2013. At Yale, they focused their studies in the School of Management and the School of Forestry & Environmental Studies.
