Scott Lensing is a seasoned professional in behavioral design with extensive experience in driving strategic initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as Principal Behavioral Designer at ideas42 since August 2018, Scott previously held the role of Senior Behavioral Designer. Prior experience includes a Summer Associate position at Social Finance, Inc., where significant contributions were made to Active Performance Management processes and the development of innovative tools. Scott's tenure at Chrysalis Los Angeles spanned nearly five years, culminating in leadership positions such as Project Manager and Operations Manager, where notable achievements included implementing a custom employment readiness tool and restructuring operations to significantly enhance service engagement and revenue growth. An MBA from Yale School of Management complements a BA in History from Georgetown University and educational experiences at The University of Edinburgh.

ideas42 is a design and research lab that uses behavioral economics to address complex social problems. ideas42 was established in 2008 by Sendhil Mullainathan of Harvard University, Antoinette Schoar of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Simeon Djankov, then of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group, EldarShafir of Princeton University, Jeffrey Kling of the Brookings Institution, and Michael Kremer of Harvard University.At ideas42 we look at everything – including our own internal processes — through a behavioral lens. We approach our work with a spirit of generosity, but we retain a sense of playfulness that helps to drive our creativity.
