Dee Rose has a wide range of work experience spanning several industries. Dee began their career at Marks and Spencer plc, starting as a Manager in 1982 and later becoming a Programme Manager for Store Systems. In this role, they oversaw a development budget, managed multiple teams, and successfully delivered debit cards to the UK Chain under budget and ahead of schedule.

In 1997, Dee joined NatWest as a Programme Manager in Corporate Banking. Dee left a business process reengineering legacy and implemented a Euro-ready accounting platform. Dee also rescued a failing Managed Service critical to e-delivery by collaborating with the supplier to improve performance.

Dee then worked at Delta Rosa Ltd as the owner of the company from 1997 to 2001. Dee managed the overall operations and business development.

From 2000 to 2001, Dee served as the Head of Trust Services at Aconite, where they played a key role in managing trust services.

In 2001, Dee joined IdenTrust Inc as the Managing Director of Customer Relations & Solution Delivery. Dee provided solution consultancy for the deployment and use of digital credentials within financial services across multiple applications and geographies. Dee built strong customer relations and demonstrated excellent delivery capability.

Furthermore, Dee became a member of Open Banking in 2017.

Dee Rose attended Cowbridge High School from 1973 to 1978, where they studied English Literature, History, and Economics. After completing high school, they went on to attend Portsmouth Polytechnic from 1978 to 1982. Dee obtained a BA Hons degree in Business Studies during their time at Portsmouth Polytechnic.

In addition to their formal education, Dee Rose has also obtained several certifications. In June 2018, they completed a course on "How to Use LinkedIn Learning" offered by LinkedIn. In February 2021, they obtained the certification of a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. Dee obtained another certification of the same title from the same institution in the same month and year.
