Chal H. Jr.

Chal H. Jr., PhD. MBA, serves as the Group Products Director and Senior Design & Products Director at IDEO since November 2014 and is a Partner in Product Design & Research at BGDV Ateliers since January 2020. With extensive experience in design leadership, Chal has held key positions at renowned companies such as frog, Fjord, R/GA, Microsoft, and IBM. Chal has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design and Politecnico di Milano. The educational background includes a PhD in Human Technology Interaction from UCL, an MBA from Esade, an MS in Psychology from Goldsmiths, University of London, another MS in Product Service System Design from Politecnico di Milano, and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Royal College of Art.
