Patrick Belliveau

Patrick Belliveau is an accomplished applied scientist with extensive experience in geophysics and machine learning. Currently serves as Principal Applied Scientist at Ideon Technologies since November 2023. Previously held the position of Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Computational Geosciences Inc. from January 2017 to October 2023, where Patrick developed methodologies integrating machine learning and physics-based modeling for geoscience applications. Earlier roles included geophysicist and software developer, focusing on 3D geophysical inversion and machine learning applications. Patrick earned a Ph.D. in Geophysics from The University of British Columbia and has a solid educational foundation with a Master's in Geophysics from Memorial University and a Bachelor's in Physics and Mathematics from Simon Fraser University.
