Steve Dean has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Steve started their career as a Crew Chief in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1974. Steve Dean attended Central Florida Community College from 1968 to 1969, studying Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Ocala High School from 1966 to 1968. In addition to their education, Steve Dean obtained certifications as a Master Fire Apparatus Technician from the Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification Commission in January 1995, and as a Master Medium/Heavy Truck Technician from the Automotive Service Excellence in December 1995.
