Kurt Schmechel

Kurt Schmechel has extensive experience in finance and operations management, currently serving as Finance Business Operations Manager for EMEA Instrument Orders and NA Sales Order Processing at IDEXX Laboratories since July 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing order management teams across Europe and North America while promoting Lean concepts. Prior to this role, Kurt worked at Kardex Remstar as Logistics Manager, managing global supply chain solutions from June 2008 to August 2011. Earlier professional experience includes a tenure at Best Buy from August 1999 to June 2008 as Customer Solutions Manager, where the focus was on managing and motivating a team of over 100 employees to enhance customer experience and drive sales and efficiency. Kurt holds an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Southern Maine Community College and graduated from Scarborough High School in 2000.
