Tauseef Ahmad

Tauseef Ahmad is an experienced banking professional with a robust career spanning over a decade, currently serving as the Head of International FIG and Vice President at IDFC FIRST Bank since June 2014. In this role, Tauseef oversees the International FIG relationship management for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region. Previously, Tauseef held the position of Associate Director, focusing on strategy and project management for Commercial and Wholesale Banking, contributing significantly to the bank's launch readiness for Transaction Banking and Commercial Banking services. Prior experience includes roles at Citibank India, where Tauseef worked as a Business Lending-Relationship Manager and Management Associate, focusing on commercial lending and client portfolio management. Tauseef began the career at Citibank, managing sales and distribution for alternative channels, notably leading the launch of an innovative online credit card application platform. Tauseef holds a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee.
