Zixuan Pang serves as Managing Director and Executive Director at IDG Capital since May 2017, focusing on early-stage biotech investments and disruptive biotechnologies. Previously, Zixuan held the position of Vice President and Associate, where responsibilities included deal sourcing and leading investments in the biotech sector. Zixuan obtained a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Dermatology, and Biochemistry from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine between 2011 and 2017. Additional experiences include serving as Entrepreneur-in-Residence Intern at BioHealth Innovation, Inc., and Director of Events at the Johns Hopkins Graduate Consulting Club. Zixuan's research background includes a role as a Research Assistant at both the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Science, and Stowers Institute for Medical Research, with a focus on innovative protein-degrading systems. Educational qualifications also include a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Peking University.
