Dan Stein

Daniel Stein has a diverse professional background with experience in economics, impact evaluation, and software engineering. Daniel is currently the Founder and Executive Director of Giving Green, a climate initiative that provides research and recommendations to combat climate change. Prior to this role, Daniel held positions as the Chief Economist at IDinsight and as an Economist at The World Bank. Daniel also has experience as a Principal Investigator at the Centre for Microfinance and as a Professional Services Engineer at BigFix, Inc. Daniel holds a PhD in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Political Economy of Industrialized Societies from the University of California, Berkeley.
