Eva Caroff has extensive work experience in pharmaceutical companies. Eva began their career at Axovan AG - Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd as a Lab Head in 2003. Eva then moved on to Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd in 2007, where they worked as a Senior Lab Head and Chemistry Project Leader until 2009. In 2010, they joined Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd again, this time as an Associate Director and Senior Lab Head, Chemistry Project Leader. From 2016 to 2017, Eva worked as a Director and Group Leader of Drug Discovery Chemistry at Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Since 2017, they have been employed at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd, initially as a Director and Group Leader of Drug Discovery Chemistry Immunology, then as a Senior Director and Head of Chemistry Immunology. Currently, Eva holds the position of Head of Drug Discovery Chemistry at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
Eva Caroff obtained their PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Basel in 2001. Following their doctoral degree, they pursued a Post-Doc position in Organic Chemistry at the University of Liverpool from 2001 to 2002. Eva later went on to complete another Post-Doc in Medicinal Chemistry at Axovan AG from 2002 to 2003.
