Shagun Mittal

Shagun Mittal is an emerging professional in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, currently serving as a PRISM Research Intern at Samsung R&D Institute India since May 2024. Prior to this, Shagun was a Software Engineering Intern at Google, contributing to the Google Cloud's Resource Optima Health Management Team, where optimization of fleet capacity and costs was a primary focus. In addition to practical experience, Shagun holds significant leadership roles, including Chairperson and Management Committee Member for IEEE Women in Engineering, and has been actively involved as a Global Ambassador for WomenTech Network. Shagun remains engaged with academic projects, serving as a Student Research Assistant at Manipal Institute of Technology and participating in the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations as a delegate. Educationally, Shagun is pursuing a Bachelor of Technology at Manipal Institute of Technology, complemented by a WE Scholar distinction from the Talentsprint WE program by Google. Prior educational experiences include studies at Delhi Public School and Cambridge School Noida.
