Shashwat Jha is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering at Delhi Technological University from August 2023 to July 2027. Jha serves in multiple roles, including CS Chapter Executive and Content and Membership Executive at IEEE DTU since September 2023, and holds the position of Newsletter Editor as a co-founder of 'The Petridish', the official newsletter of BioSoc-DTU, which began in October 2023. Additionally, Jha works as an Electronics Technician (Validation) at DelTech Baja since August 2023 and is an active member of STEP DTU until May 2024, while previously contributing as a Scientific Researcher and Content Writer. Jha's education also includes completing intermediate studies at Sumermal Jain Public School and primary education at DAPS-II, with significant involvement in extracurricular activities and research initiatives.

IEEE DTU Student Branch is the oldest as well as the largest student branch in Delhi Section of Region 10. With the aim of instilling scientific temperament in the student community through a plethora of activities around the year it boasts of a colorful history spanning over three decades. Today, IEEE DTU claims to have under its wing a massive strength of more than 250 student members, working actively throughout the year.
