Jo-Ellen Snyder

Jo-Ellen Snyder is a seasoned Technical Community Program Specialist at IEEE, where since March 1998, management of daily operations for two Technical Societies has supported around 150 volunteer leaders and over 14,000 members. Expertise includes utilizing Oracle and Siebel databases for financial tracking and society membership analytics, overseeing million-dollar budgets, ensuring corporate compliance, and facilitating collaborative environments. In addition, Jo-Ellen has experience as a Publications Manager for the Signal Processing Society, guiding a team in manuscript management for technical journals and liaising between volunteers and staff in the online peer review system. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business/e-Business from the University of Phoenix and paralegal and parliamentary procedure certificates from the University of Hawai‘i System and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, respectively.
