Keyana Tennant

Keyana Tennant is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership, community engagement, and strategic development. Currently serving as Co-President and VP of Diversity Equity & Inclusion at South Orange Middle School Home & School Association Inc., Keyana has played a pivotal role at IEEE since 2005, including responsibilities as Head of Awards Partnerships and Engagement and co-founding significant initiatives such as the IEEE Women in Engineering International Leadership Summit and Conference. With a background as a Business Strategist and Event Consultant since 2000, Keyana has also earned recognition as an APEX Award Winner and has developed impactful global programs in governance, finance, and partnerships through women in engineering initiatives. Keyana holds a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Maryland and a Master of Public Administration, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the Metropolitan College of New York.
